One of a Kind 4×4 Custom Luxury RV Toy Hauler “The Dunkel”

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

How many F-650 RV conversions have you seen that can easily be qualified as a toy hauler? Ya, we haven’t seen many either until laying eyes on the Dunkel Industrial Vehicles Luxury 4×4. The premise for this custom luxury RV was simple, create a RV that had “unlimited versatility”. Where do we start with the work and modifications that went into this monster. They used a military grade 4×4 system, a hydraulic truck bed that can house a car, and also functions as a ramp so you can load up your ATV’s or other toys.

The Dunkel custom luxury RV also has camp seating built into the storage bins(see photos), a custom one touch fold down stairwell, 3 winches, RV inverter, Cummins 3200 Onan generator, and an air ride chassis and separate system for the cab. The Dunkel is huge, so big in fact we are surprised it doesn’t require more than 2 axles. It is large enough that a Jeep Wrangler can fit in the bed AND a pair of ATV’s. Rumor has it that the truck bed itself is coated with an estimated $7,000 worth of line-x! Don’t forget about a special storage box for firewood as well. The interior of the Dunkel custom luxury RV is equally as impressive as the exterior. They used custom wood, leather and fiberglass construction to make the interior as one of a kind as the eye catching outside.

The Dunkel has been around for a while. Originally debuting a few years ago apparently. Even after a few years we are not sure there is anything else quite like it. For you boon-dockers and trail riders out there, what do you think? Would you consider something like this if it was in production?
