Stunningly Simple Brazilian Truck Camper Called The Camper Duaron

This post was updated on March 27th, 2024

I want to show you this neat video of the Camper Duaron truck camper, made by a Brazilian company of the same name. Chances are you won’t be heading down to Brazil and closing a deal on one of these truck campers any time soon, but it’s always fun to do a little window shopping.

The Camper Duaron has a slick rear entrance ladder, and the attached awnings make setting up camp super convenient. With solar panels, a chemical toilet, and a cooktop, you’ve got yourself a boondocking machine for awesome weekend camping trips.

The video is in Portuguese, and shows the installation and removal of the camper, along with some accessories.

Note: Hit the button that says ‘CC’ on it for closed captioning, and then use the ‘gear’ button to auto translate the captions from Portuguese to English.

While it was tough to pick up on all the details, the smooth lines and bright interior definitely stood out. Retail price for this truck camper model is around 60,000 Brazilian Real, or $20,000 USD.
