Even if you don’t own a campervan, you can still rent one to get the full experience. Denver-based company Native Campervans offers two types of rental vehicles, as well as a summer adventure tour though Colorado and Utah.
Native Campervans have two rental options: Biggie and Smalls.
Their Biggie van is a 2016 Ram ProMaster.
It comes with a small cooking area, queen-size memory foam bed in the back, and more than enough space to store things for the duration of your trip.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook (except food). In addition to utensils and plates, there’s a sink, double-burner stove, 7-gallon water tank, French press, and a fridge/freezer.
Seating & sleeping two, the vans are ideal for couples, or friends looking for an adventure.
Their Smalls option, a 2011-2015 Dodge Grand Caravan, seats five people and sleeps two.
In the back, the cooking space is fitted with a sink, cutlery, and a single-burner gas stove.
A foldaway table turns the inside into a cozy living area. There’s a double bed for sleeping, and blinds for more privacy.
Prices vary, depending on which van you choose, how many miles you’re going, and how long the van is going to be rented for (they charge on a per-night basis).
They offer 100 free miles per day, basic insurance coverage, and no fees for extra drivers. There is a 3-day minimum rental period, and rental extensions may be available on a case-to-case basis.
Going more than 100 miles? They have deals available for longer trips. You can drive an additional 100 miles/day for $20/day, or go unlimited miles for $33 a day.
Aside from what’s included, there are features you can choose to add (at an additional cost) for both Biggie and Smalls. A GPS, tent, sleeping bag, inflatable paddleboard, and hammock are just a few of the options available.
Just scrolling through their Facebook and Instagram will inspire you to get out and explore. Check out this photo they shared from Capitol Reef National Park in Utah:

In the summer, they’ll be offering a guided tour through Colorado & Utah.
The price for their adventure tour includes a campervan for two weeks, adventure itinerary, group activities, and reserved camping sites. You can more info on it here.
These campervan rentals are a perfect way to try before you buy.
And if you happen to fall in love with the van on your trip, it is possible to get your own too. You can connect with the makers of both their Biggie and Smalls vans to have your own custom-built just the way you like it.
