For those of you out there who enjoy RV renovation, remodeling, demolition or before/after then you should be in for a treat. The Rock My RV Premiere on the Travel Channel will follow rock star Bret Michaels as he manages his own team of RV design engineers in taking plain RV’s and creating outrageous and over the top renovations in the process. The show’s promotional materials probably say it best, “They will create mobile mansions”.

As the promo suggests, they will be working primarily on Class A, B, and C motorhomes. Some of the rumored RV upgrades and renovations are gaming stations, RV rooftop deck, and a even a 10 foot BBQ.

We think that the idea of Rock My RV will be met with great interest from the RV community. However we think that Bret Michaels may not associate with everyone in the RV audience nor the methods they may use when remodeling their chosen RV’s. The good news is that Bret Michaels is actually a lifetime RV’er and has been full-timing for a large portion of his life. He got started as a kid taking road trips in his families’ Winnebago and has a very personal connection with RV’ing. His career choice as a musician ensured that he spent a majority of his time in tour bus RV’s as well. That being said we believe this will be one of the more interesting RV related TV programs. Time will tell!

Rock My RV is determined to take traditional and dated RV’s from owners just like us and transform them into something that is one of a kind and customized to the owners hobbies and passions. They are looking for RV owners with exciting lives and travel plans. If you think you have what it takes and think your RV may make a great feature for the show, then Bret Michaels wants to hear about it. The only stipulations is the RV must be mechanically sound and the RV must be in the vicinity of southern California. You can download the application and send it off using the information listed to get your lifestyle and RV considered for Rock My RV! Good Luck!

  1. My husband and I bought a 1984 Shasta Friendship 16 which we are DIY remodeling in the hopes to be completed in time for Rocklahoma!! (We live in Oklahoma.) However, we have now the need for a rescue as we have discovered major structural water damage while replacing the floor! Help us rock our RV at Rocklahoma!!

  2. I just bought my first RV last month and it needs some work to bring it up to date. She is a 1982 Fleetwood jamboree with 31440 original miles. I think its great for my wife and I to travel around the country in now that we are retired. I wish I could have seen it in its hay day. I’ll bet she could have turned some heads then. I wish this old girl could be brought back to original life. New wiring. plumbing. fixed and restore appliances. redo the instruments and sound system for an old rock and roller. I would love to take a trouble free vacation with the old girl cruising down the road and jamming to the tunes heading for who knows where just go till it looks good and stop for a visit. Meet new friends and see new places. I am medically retired and need to see places I’ve never seen and make some new memories. Can you make this happen for a 60 yr. old rocker. I really think you can and use your imagination for design. I live in north west Florida around Pensacola. Thanks for listening got hopes.

  3. have a classic 1976 silver Steak.. drove it all over then
had family heath issues and it has sat 6 years… ready to get her going again…
now don’t know what to do to get her back on the road..
also Im in a wheel chair right now..
are you still doing the rock my rv show…?

  4. I have a 1971 Chevrolet Barth, 25 foot motor home with 49727 original miles. I would love for you to transform it Bret.

  5. The TV show Rock My RV is renovating a 1998 Lazy Daze RV with a TIKI theme. It’ll be a great place to get some decorating ideas, plus the show rocks. I’m so excited, it looks like it’s going to be great. It on at 9pm EDT this Sunday, July 21st on the Travel Channel.
