Check Out This Incredible Footage Of Grizzly Bears Destroying A Campsite

If you’re camping in bear country, there are just certain precautions you’ve got to take.

Like properly storing your food in bear-proof containers, for example. You should absolutely never, ever try to hide your marshmallows – or any food – inside your sleeping bag. And as this video shows us below, it’s also very essential to keep attractants like garbage and barbecues contained when our sites are unattended.

To give us an idea of how much damage these cuddly-but-deadly beasts can do, founder of Grizzly Bear Outreach Project Chris Morgan put together this mock campsite at Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo, and let two 700-pound grizzly bears run free. Named Keema and Denali, the two brothers have a blast as they knock over tents, the barbecue grill, get into leftover pizza boxes, and of course, sniff out the grub stored away inside the tents and cooler.
