This Epic Motorhome Concept Combines A Car And A Caravan Camper

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

Talk about convenience! If you love to travel but hate towing along a caravan, this futuristic new vehicle concept by German designer Christian Susana may be what you’ve always been searching for.

Monapart

It’s known as “The Colim Concept“, which is an acronym for ‘Colors Of Life In Motion’. It bridges the gap between a car, caravan and motorhome and can comfortably fit about two people (maximum of four). The cockpit is detachable from the usable living space, so owners can park and just use the small car to make trips for supplies or go explore nearby attractions (like these awesome ones if you’re in the Northwest region!)

Not to mention the vehicle’s extremely eco-friendly and fuel efficient, equipped with a hybrid engine and solar panel on the roof. There’s also several wide windows to allow plenty of light in, adding to the overall energy efficiency. The detachable car is able to reach a top speed of 90mph and can easily be parked in areas where other larger vehicles wouldn’t fit. While this is just a concept design right now and isn’t actively available on the market just yet, the maker is looking to put the vehicle into full scale production.
