Custom Painted One of Kind Pink Crazy RV with Sunglasses!

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

Most people have spotted a custom painted RV at some point. However, it is almost exclusively used for commercial purposes to market a brand, entertainment shows, or for some other promotional purpose. Rarely do you see custom paint on a private RV. That is why this crazy RV with an indescribable pink paintjob is so unique.

This crazy RV is a feast for the eyes, though I am sure there are those that will both love and despise the color choices. This RV is a 30’ 1994 Lazy Daze Class C. If you are going to paint RV so that it takes on a persona of its own then you may as well use a quality RV like a Lazy Daze right?

The exterior pink, blue, and white paint on this crazy RV was created by Michael Lee Scott, who is a proclaimed trompe l’oeil artist. That fancy French word is defined as: “an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create the optical illusion that depicted objects exist in three dimensions”.

That definition seems to explain the motivation here.

The interior, though lacking the bright pink theme, is perhaps equally bold. The dining area was removed due to the fact that there was not enough room for dancing. Yes, that’s right, dancing! They did leave the sofa which pulls out into a queen bed so there is still room for 4 to sleep in this pink crazy RV once the music stops.

The RV has a storied past. It has been used for dancing (see above), a comedy tour, and even rented out for a fashion show. We imagine countless other events, acts, and oddities in its 20 year history.

Everyone is bound to have an opinion. Consensus is that more folks will admire the interior rather than the exterior. That pink paint job is an acquired taste don’t you think?
