There’s no denying that s’mores are delicious, and everyone’s favorite treat is best enjoyed while out camping – as long as you’re stocked up on its key ingredients – marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.

But if you’re tired of the same old snack and are looking for a new twist that will have your mouth watering uncontrollably, then be sure to check out some of these simple and unique additions while on your next trip:

If you’re looking for a salty and sweet combination…

Try Graham Crackers + Marshmallow + Bacon + Salted Caramel. You could also combine Graham Crackers + Marshmallow + Dark Chocolate + Peanut Butter! Pretzels are another great food to add to the mix, as well as pecans or nuts.

If you have a wild sweet tooth…

Forget the traditional graham crackers and plop your fluffy marshmallow in between two cookies or brownies to form a sandwich before roasting it over the fire. To make things even more delicious, you could try adding in some cookie dough or caramel sauce in the middle. Really, whatever your heart desires.

You can even grill your treat inside of a banana! Cut a thin strip into the curve of the banana, but be careful to leave it intact so that you can put it back into place when it’s all ready to be cooked.

Pull the piece back and use a spoon to cut out about a third of the inside to form a canyon. Fill the space with your marshmallows, chocolate chips, graham crackers, and anything else that you’d like, then return the flap, wrap your concoction in foil, and put it on the grill or cook it over the fire to roast to perfection.

For some fruitful flavors, you could cut up a banana into pieces and/or add in a few slices of strawberry. You can also try combining pieces of banana with graham cracker, marshmallow, and the popular Nutella spread!

Candy is always a win when it comes to combinations! Try inserting a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup or pieces of Snickers in between your traditional graham crackers. On the plus side, you can usually locate candy at any store or gas station, so it doesn’t require finding special groceries!

What else do you like to add to your s’mores??
