Add A Storage Box To Your Trailer’s A-Frame Tongue

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

If you’re looking for a place to stash an extra storage box around your trailer, you might consider dropping in a triangular storage box in the front of your trailer’s A-frame tongue.

One of our readers, Clint, sent in a photo of a mod he made to his trailer to install such a storage box.

Added this Dee Zee box by dropping it down between the A frame. I made the angle supports. I have two golf cart batteries in there and room on top for cords, hoses, etc. Shown without the LP tank cover on, it can be locked.

You might also consider adding a storage box at the rear of your camper. Here’s a video explaining how another camper built a rear platform to gain valuable storage space.
