Cosmetologists Katy McLaughlin and Jennifer Mills teamed up to open the Hair and There Mobile Salon, a professional studio housed in a vintage Airstream trailer.
The two specialize in men’s and women’s haircuts, hair coloring, and makeup.
Their renovated Airstream salon is parked in Katy, Texas (just west of Houston). Katy and Jennifer work out of the trailer, and will bring it to your location upon request.

The trailer wasn’t much to look at in the beginning.
Dull and worn out, to tell you the truth.
The inside was a mess.
How does a couch get to look that bad?
Rodents must have loved this place.
The team gutted the trailer.
And replaced the insulation, flooring, and electrical wiring.
The outside needed a lot of attention.
But with a little buffing, turned out great.
Everything was removed to make room for the custom salon layout.
Katy and Jennifer had a lot of new windows added.
New shelving and the first salon chair already in.

Comfortable waiting area.
Cool LED lighting on the ceiling.
Looking good. The buffed aluminum makes the interior shine.
Awesome.
With room for only a couple of guests, you can have your peace and quiet.
The teal accent color reflects off the aluminum ceiling.
Those mirrors are just perfect.
