These Camper Van Kits Can Be Installed In Only 2 Days

Building out a camper van can take a lot of time and hard work. Contravans aims to make it faster and easier to get on the road with their new camper van kits that only take two weeks to manufacture and two days to install.

The Denver-based company is a byproduct of two other companies in the camper van industry: Van Life Customs, a custom van manufacturer, and Native Campervans, a camper van rental company.

Their simple Contra-Kit focuses on three essential things: sleeping, cooking, and storage. The custom-fit interior systems are designed for a 2015 or newer Ram ProMaster City van and constructed from durable Baltic birch plywood.

The Contra-Kit includes two sliding drawers built onto a steel frame. One of the drawers slides out as your kitchenette, and the other pulls out as a huge 6.75 cubic foot storage drawer with dividers.

A full-size memory foam mattress lies on top of the frame. It comes outfitted with sheets, a Rumpl blanket, and two pillows.

The kits come equipped with a 100Ah auxiliary battery system and a 400-watt power inverter. They also have a small open compartment beneath the bed where you can store items for easy access.
