Newly opened in 2016, this mobile cafe and bar can be rented for any gathering in southern California – from weddings to parties, reunions, and corporate events.
Their name “Ahimsa” comes from the philosophy of practicing non-violence to one’s self and all living things. Founded on this kind-hearted doctrine, they only serve gourmet drinks that are in line with these principles.
They brew Venice Beach’s own Groundwork Coffee, which is not only one of the first, but also one of the largest roasters in southern California that’s certified organic, fair trade, non-GMO, chemical-free, kosher, and environmentally-friendly. You can certainly taste the difference!
Guests can order a freshly brewed cup of espresso, coffee, or cup of tea. Or if you’re looking to celebrate, they’ll pour you a cold beer, glass of wine, bubbly, or hand-crafted cocktail.
Mocha? IPA? Glass of Pinot Noir? Whatever your taste, they’ve got you and your guests covered.
The quaint cafe bar was founded by Molly in Los Angeles, who spent time discovering her own life’s purpose all over the world – from Melbourne, Australia to Bali, Indonesia.
Ahimsa Caravan Cafe was strongly influenced by her time spent in Melbourne. Down in Australia, the cafes don’t just close at 5pm for the day. Rather, they start serving a different kind of drink.
Upon returning to L.A., she opened this whimsical pop up caravan that can serve personal events as a cafe, bar, or even a mix of both.
