Rent A Trailer From Canadian Owners On WheelEstate

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

The sharing community among RV owners and renters has grown significantly over the past few years. The concept works in much the same way as Airbnb or Lyft. If you have an RV that you are not using all the time, you can rent it out to visitors who want to explore your area. They get an awesome experience from a local RV owner, you get a little extra income.

Now the RV rental business in Canada has its own company. WheelEstate is a new online business that allows RV owners to rent their travel trailers out to visitors exploring the Canadian provinces.

WheelEstate
WheelEstate is a trailer rental/RV sharing company based in Canada.

The rentals are available throughout the country. In addition, WheelEstate provides insurance for owners and roadside assistance with Coach-Net for renters. Owners and renters then review each other after the trailer is returned.

Trailer owners can make extra income by renting out their own unused rigs.

Since renters must have their own tow vehicle available to get to the owner’s location and rig, travel trailers are only available on the site. WheelEstate doesn’t rent out motorhomes or Class B vans.

You must also have an account with WheelEstate to rent or rent out a trailer, but your searches and favorite trailers can be saved for later use. Also, renters and owners can have private conversations about logistics, pick up locations, or questions about RV usage.

Renters can search for a type of trailer, location, and their desired dates.

A wide range of travel trailers are available for rent on WheelEstate in whatever area people want to travel. The choices include conventional trailers, fifth wheel trailers, toy haulers, expandable and folding trailers, vintage campers, and even park model homes.

Renters can choose from Betty-Lou, the vintage seafoam green Shasta in Calgary, or a 27-foot Springdale camper with slide outs, awnings, and an outdoor shower. Some other fun finds include The Peanut vintage camper or a popup trailer tent in Alberta, a SylvanSport Go in Ontario, or the Li’l Jolly Green Boler (the original Canadian fiberglass trailer) in Sundre, Alberta.
