Like New 1970 Oldsmobile Toronado Camper Still Turning Heads

This 1970 camper isn’t a modified VW bus or a cute travel trailer. No, it’s a truck camper / car camper type deal that some have said looks more like a hearse than an outdoor adventure wagon.

It’s cream colored with a bit of brown trim, and there doesn’t seem to be any signs of rust.

It’s not clear if this Oldsmobile camper came stock from the factory. One thing is for sure: the low, low gas mileage afforded by the V-8 under the hood. Those were bad enough without carrying around extra weight. How many miles per gallon do you think this weighed-down Toronado gets? Has to be less than 15 mpg for sure!

The interior doesn’t look bad at all, it’s clean, tidy and sleeps up to several people.

Plus, those are some awesome spare tire covers!
