Christopher Deam has a long history designing the modern interiors that Airstream customers so passionately love. He’s dreamed up many prototype trailers for Airstream, and has helped influence Airstream’s production models for over fifteen years, including the International Series and other one-off custom campers.
One of Christopher’s designs, called the International Sterling, could be Airstream’s most modern-looking camper of all.
Airstream says of this one-of-a-kind travel trailer,
…the International Sterling has a retro charm that combines with a contemporary vibe that takes the party out of the city and into the wild. The International Sterling provides a clean, stylish, and modern approach to camping unlike any other.
While Airstream no longer makes the International Sterling, you can still find used models through some of the more well-known Airstream dealerships with an Internet presence.
Customers could choose from one of two decors, Arctic Dijon (pictured) or Obsidian Violet.
Patrick Dempsey, of the TV show Grey’s Anatomy, has used an Airstream International Sterling on his set, and has a 1950 Flying Cloud parked on his property.
