Original Boler trailers are hard to come by these days. The fiberglass “eggs-on-wheels” were built back in 1968-1988 and only 10,000 were ever made. It’s even less common to see these vintage campers with gorgeous renovations. So you can only imagine our excitement when we came across this beautifully remodeled 1977 “Sonic Egg” trailer.
This rare “Sonic Egg” trailer was found on a field in Ontario, Canada. It sports both front and back jalousie windows.
When it was uncovered, the trailer was in rough condition. So everything was taken out, rewired, and repaired. The aluminum inside was cleaned and polished, and windows & door were resealed. The spare tire cover and old aluminum rock guards got a makeover as well.
Inside, the kitchen was stripped and redecorated. The quirky color scheme and pattern was based off their recipe box.

The exterior was primed and painted a gorgeous bright red. It perfectly matches their tow vehicle and red-and-white striped awning.
As with any renovation, it was no easy process. Check out the full “Cinderella Story” from Robert Sheele on Youtube here:
