These custom-made dog trailers were dreamed up by designer Judson Beaumont at Straight Line Designs.
Judson got the idea after his daughter asked him to build a doghouse for the family’s puppy a few years ago.
Although Judson made four versions to start, a company rep said that,
We use a variety of materials including laminate, which makes the possibilities virtually endless. We currently have four body styles available, however Judson is always coming up with new concepts for future models. There will definitely be more to come.
The stock models come with names like Cat Nap, My Baby, and Dog LVR, but you can choose your own and have it made into a custom license plate for the pet trailer.
Straight Line Designs says that the trailers will hold any pet up to 20 pounds, and they’ll make larger versions upon request.
The trailers are designed for indoor use, and should be kept out of the rain and direct sunlight.
Prices start around $800 and go up depending on size, special requests, and the materials used. The company will ship them worldwide from their studio in Vancouver, Canada.
