Volkswagen lovers, rejoice: these full-scale beds designed like Type 2 campervans are available for a limited time. They’re made by Portugal-based company, Circu – a producer of magical furniture, lighting products, rugs
, and other items.
They may not drive like normal VWs, but they still maintain the same charm we know and love. Inside you’ll find a sleeping area, plus a comfy space to lounge, a mini fridge you can stock with beer and drinks, and a TV to watch all your favorite shows.
The builds – known as “Bun Van Beds” – are mostly constructed of fiberglass with chrome plated finishes. On the inside, they’re finished with palisander wood veneer, and include storage compartments, a TV, mini fridge, sofa, desk, and of course the bed itself.
The beds measure full-scale to real Volkswagen vans (about 157.5 inches wide, 86.6 inches tall, and with a depth of 72.8 inches). They also have a lot of strikingly similar features – including the signature headlights:
