5 Classic RVs For Sale On The West Coast That You’ve Got To See

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

It can be difficult to pick the right RV when you’re in the market and the options to choose from seem to be endless. While you can still find a quality motor home manufactured in just about any year, there’s something uniquely awesome about owning one that was made before 1985. Luckily I was able to locate these classic RVs available for sale that are worth checking out:

1. 1946 Yetti Other for $229,900 in Alpine, CA

After starting out as an inner city bus in the 1950s, this vehicle became the LA Dodgers team bus which they drove home after winning the World Series in 1955! In 1964 it was bought by Jack Geary in San Diego, and he turned it into a motor home. Later on in 1991 it was purchased by Bob Rowsell, who began a long restoration project and upgraded the engine, as well as installed a completely new brake system. On the inside, the kitchen features a stylish classic diner theme complete with a jukebox!

2. 1970 Airstream Overlander for $34,500 in Valley Center, CA

This low mileage travel trailer is the definition of comfortable – featuring a bed, bath, wooden cabinets, new water heater and air conditioner, new tires and plumbing, a 20-ft retractable awning, 32-inch flat screen TV, AM/FM radio and CD with four speakers, DVD player and portable satellite dish to accommodate all of your entertainment needs.

Only two previous owners have stored this sweet RV in their non-smoking garages during its lifetime. It offers several notable features, such as a 20HP Onan Diesel Generator, 4 speed Allison 740 automatic transmission, air brakes, and on the inside you can find two removable cocktail tables and a dining table, tow hitch, swivel seat for the driver, adjustable steering column, fire extinguisher, back up lights, window screens, etc. The industrial gas engine was just rebuilt in 2012, and only 1,800 miles have been driven on its new tires since 2012!

4. 1978 Minnie Winnie Winnebago for $5,800 in Seattle, WA

This cute and cozy Class C motorhome easily fits a four-person family with its full-size bed, dinette table, several windows that provide great lighting and much more. Pop in your favorite tunes to the built-in working cassette player or just turn on your favorite radio station while you’re driving down the road. There’s also a working air conditioner and heater, small bathroom with a shower, four-burner gas stove, oven, toaster, double kitchen sink, lots of cabinet space and even some additional rooftop storage to fit all of your must-have items!

5. 1975 MCI Bus Conversion for $39,999 in Federal Way, WA

You may be surprised that this Class A coach was once used by the Yellowstone National Park transporting tourists in and around the area! Because of this, it hasn’t had much strenuous usage. You’ll be equipped with a large propane tank as well as a generator on board to ensure that you’ve always got power. All of the upholstery has been recently redone, and some of its amazing features include a full-size refrigerator, rooftop air conditioning, a kitchen complete with a stove and microwave, back up camera, two couches – one of which is a comfy pull-out bed, and much more!

If you’re in Oregon, be sure to take a look at this 1973 Eagle Coach in Central Point, this 1983 Georgie Boy Excalibur in Eugene, or perhaps a 1984 Holiday Rambler Alumilite in Tigard!
