What can you do when you run out of beds? Not much room for cots and air mattresses in a RV. One option for another bed is the folding RV bed for the front seat. A blogger that goes by the moniker of “roadtrekker dd” posted on his blog what I thought was an incredible use of space for his Sprinter.
I think that most RV’s with front seats like this could absolutely build this in and add much needed sleeping space to their rig. I think its a fairly simple project save the upholstery which in my limited experience is pricey and time consuming.
But I am sure there are those of you out there that it wont scare away because this RV bed would be great bragging rights. If you decide to take it on be sure to post your progress over at the forums.

You can see the full play by play build on the Front Seat RV Bed HERE.
He also built a second bed for the galley of his sprinter and you can have a look at that HERE.
