It’s not everyday we see towable houseboats like the Escape II. Though boat-caravan hybrids aren’t a completely new concept, this modern build from Australia-based company Boatahome has an impressive design inside and out.
The Escape II from Boatahome is a combination of a boat and a caravan.
They’re powered by Suzuki motors on the water and can be towed behind any four-wheel drive vehicle.
The kitchen includes a 3-burner gas stove, pull-out pantry, and a stainless steel sink.
You can also choose to add features like a microwave, stereo system, washing machine, and gas heater.
In the back, there’s a fridge, freezer, cozy sitting area with a table, and a fold-out double bed.
On the roof, two 150-watt solar panels provide sustainable power.
The makers Boatahome are based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. They also produce other items like: bus/coach panels, camper roofs, shower cubicles, ski boats, and flat panels.
