If you’re a fan of the 80s movie Spaceballs (and I know I am) starring Mel Brooks, John Candy, and Rick Moranis, you’re going to love this DIY LEGO build.
A customized Winnebago motorhome served as the Eagle 5 spaceship in the film.
User Modulex Guy on the EuroBricks website came up with this highly detailed LEGO version of the Eagle 5. It was so good, the organizers at Brickworld chose it for display at their annual LEGO expo in Schaumburg, Illinois.
While we couldn’t track down any build instructions for this, take a look at some of the pictures of the completed model.

Wow, the model and figures are so detailed you can hardly tell they’re made only of LEGOs. Come to think of it, the Dark Helmet guy does look a little like Rick Moranis…
UPDATE: LEGO may actually make a Spaceballs Eagle 5 Spaceship kit similar to the one shown above…
