RV Cooking: How To Make Caramel Banana French Toast

This post was updated on March 15th, 2024

Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but when you’re on the road, there’s not always a lot of kitchen space to cook a big dish in the mornings. Luckily, cooking in our mobile homes is more simple than ever, thanks to YouTube user Wander Dano. He posted this video showing us how to make Caramel Banana French Toast with only four ingredients and about five minutes by the stove.

It’s not only easy to follow, simple to make, and looks totally delectable, but it’s also pretty relatable that he flips his French Toast too soon (a few times). It happens to the best of us!

What you’ll need:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • Caramel sauce

How he makes it:

Turn your stove on to medium heat. Crack your eggs into a bowl, and whip them up using a fork. Dip your slices of bread in the bowl, carefully making sure each side is covered. Then set them on a pan over the stove, and flip them once each side is golden brown. Once all four slices are cooked, place them onto the stove for a minute to heat up again, and remove them onto a plate.

Unpeel a banana, and chop small pieces off into the pan. Cover them with a layer of caramel sauce and stir. After about two minutes, stirring occasionally, pour the caramel & banana blend over your four spread-out slices of French toast. Top with more caramel sauce, cinnamon, berries, or nuts if you’d like. Bon appétit!
