For many of us there will never be a more chaotic and uncomfortable area than our RV shower. Between the cramped space and keeping all the items close that you may need it turns into quite a workout just to get clean. After a recent rant about this very issue, I was introduced to a possible solution for replacing the various RV shower paraphernalia with one solitary item that could do them all! The idea we were introduced too is one that has been around literally for decades but we have not seen it prevalently used inside a RV shower. A RV shower soap dispenser could be just what we needed to keep our shower more organized and deal with the constant trials and tribulations of finding all our shower items.

If you have not used a Shower soap dispenser at home or in the RV then you will be quite impressed at the simplicity, convenience and even the price. Being that we don’t travel full time in the RV, once the RV soap dispenser is filled with our various soaps it should last for months and months before refilling as most models hold 14- 15 oz. in separate removable chambers. Once filled, the top easily snaps over the chambers and now you have push button soap in your RV shower anytime you like.
They have also created little windows so you can see when your RV shower soap dispenser is getting low on fluids. The entire unit is largely made with ABS plastic and feels quite rigid which should translate into a long life of use.
There are several models to choose from based on your needs. We went with the shower caddy version with 4 separate dispensers, shelf, soap dish, and hooks for shower sponges for maximum functionality. You can also get a 2 dispenser, 3 dispenser, or 4 dispenser without the added frills at a lower prices point.
This RV shower Soap dispenser, regardless of the model you choose installs easily with silicone glue and two way tape which is included. You could also fasten with other methods such as 3M command strips for a less permanent approach.
We decided to mount ours on the opposite side of the RV shower from the shower head to minimize the chance of it being in the way. We also mounted it about “belly button” height for the same reason. That’s one of the benefits of this RV shower soap dispenser idea, you can mount it literally anywhere you choose. Ultimately, we think this is yet another RV mod that should be unnecessary. We feel that RV manufactures should install items such as this direct from the factory! Good news, for around $20 we can add it ourselves!
If you have completed this RV mod already or decide to do so please tells us about it in the comments section below!
