10 RV Shows You Won’t Want To Miss In 2017

New Year’s is a prime time to look for a new RV. Not only can you pick from brand new models coming out for 2017, but it’s the season of RV shows – where you can score great deals and get your new motorhome at special low prices. They’re held all over the country, from New England to the Pacific Northwest, and are fun to browse whether you’re looking for an upgrade or just interested in seeing the latest models. Here are a few of the upcoming RV shows across the U.S. that you’ll want to mark on your 2017 calendar.

1.  Colorado RV Adventure Travel Show

Where: Colorado Convention Center, Denver

The 27th annual Colorado RV Adventure Travel show will be going on from January 5-7. They’ll be including exhibits of sparkly new 2017 RVs ranging from Class A motorhomes to lightweight, easy-to-pull tent trailers, fifth-wheels, travel trailers, truck campers, RV and camper accessories. Admission is $12 for adults, and kids 12 & under can check it out for free.

2. Ohio RV and Boat Show

Where: Ohio Expo Center, Columbus 

Ohio’s longest running RV show is scheduled for January 6-8, and 11-15 (they’ll be closed on January 9 & 10). They don’t just showcase RVs and boats – but also ATVs, motorcycles, watercrafts and golf cars. Aside from the new vehicles, vendors also sell related items like camping gear. Tickets for adults cost $12, $3 for youth (ages 6-13), and it’s free for children 5 & under.

3. Chicago Boat, RV & Strictly Sail Show

Where: McCormick Place, Chicago

Chicago’s largest show will be returning with the latest boat & RV models from January 11-15. Boats are available for every budget, as well as a range of new models of RVs, fifth wheels and travel trailers. The show also puts on informative seminars if you’re just looking to learn more about RVing and sailing.

4. Grand Rapids Camper, Travel & RV Show

Where: DeVos Place, Grand Rapids 

The Grand Rapids Camper, Travel & RV Show will be hosting 12 dealers that represent more than 100 RV lines from January 12-15. Even if you’re not looking to buy, they have a fantastic selection of campgrounds and travel destinations to learn more about. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $4 for children 6-14, and kids 5 & under are free. Pro-tip: You can save money on your admission with this $2 coupon.

5. Boston RV & Camping Expo

Where: Boston Convention and Exhibition Center

New England’s largest RV show will be coming back this year from January 13-16. Featuring the latest models in RVs, fifth wheels, travel trailers, pop-up campers and camping supplies, the four-day event also includes seminars and special features like Cabela’s Kid-Safe Archery Range. Tickets for adults cost $15, while kids 12 & under are free of charge.

6. Florida RV SuperShow

Where: Florida State Fairgrounds, Tampa

Celebrating their 32nd year, Tampa’s SuperShow from January 17-22 is the largest RV show in the whole country. Visitors can browse over 450 vendor booths and 1400+ RVs covering 26 acres. They also welcome campers (dry camping only, with no hook-ups available). Seminars are held every day, with topics varying from RV Maintenance to RV Weight & Tire Safety. Admission for adults is $10, while kids 16 and under are welcome at no cost.

7. Tacoma RV Show

Where: Tacoma Dome

Tacoma’s 32nd annual RV show will be back again from January 19-22. Over a dozen local dealers will be set-up with close-out deals on 2016 models and previews of the newest models for 2017. Parking is free, and general admission goes for $12 (but you can save $2 with this coupon from their website).

8. San Antonio Boat & Travel Trailer Show

Where: Alamodome, San Antonio

San Antonio’s RV & Boat Show is set for February 9-12 this upcoming year. Dealers will be offering the latest models on towable RVs, kayaks, canoes and vessels, all under one roof. The price of admission is $10, $6 for seniors and kids 7-12, and always free for kids 7 & under.

9. West Palm Beach RV Show

Where: South Florida Fairgrounds, West Palm Beach

Vendors at the RV show in West Palm Beach will be showing off the new year’s hottest RVs and trailers from February 16-19. Pets are welcome too as long as they’re kept on a leash. Admission is $8 for adults, and free for kids 12 & under.

10. Indianapolis Boat, Sport & Travel Show

Where: Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis

For over 60 years, Indiana’s most popular RV show has been showcasing the latest RVs and products across nearly 700,000 square feet. Walk around and browse their wide selection of brand new boats, RVs, and fishing gear, or stop by one of the educational seminars if you’re looking to learn something new. It will be going for ten days, from February 17-26, with an admission price of $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for children 6-12, and free for kids under 5.
