8 Resolutions You Should Definitely Still Be Keeping As An RVer in 2016

With the month of February beginning, you may have long forgotten about the resolutions that you made for the new year. However, there are tons of new changes that are certainly worth sticking to – especially when it comes to camping and RVing. Here are 8 resolutions in particular you should definitely still be keeping as an RVer for 2016:

1. Go on more trips…

Of course, making an effort to hit the road more often is always a good idea. Why stay at home watching Netflix when you could be heading out to your next spectacular destination?

2. …and visit new places.

Besides hitting some of the routine spots, discovering new places can make for some unforgettable memories. If you’re in need of some trip inspiration, try exploring one of these scenic trips by the coast.

3. Document your adventures more.

Going on a camping or RVing trip can always make for an exciting journey. What’s even better? Taking dozens of photos and videos (no matter how many beers you’ve had) to fully document the trip for years to come.

4. Don’t bring (or use) your smart phone.

I know – pretty much impossible. But out in the great outdoors, you’ll find a much better connection to nature than any WiFi signal you might receive. Besides, a regular camera will do just fine in recording your travels, and you won’t be nearly as tempted to check if there’s any new messages.

5. Transform your RV.

It’s 2016 already. Changing up the interior of your RV by adding some color or new decor can completely liven up your space and make your home that much more unique and special. From cheap fixes at Target to entirely renovating your model, upgrading your mobile home to some degree should definitely be on your list for 2016.

6. Go green.

Taking care of the environment should be a resolution all year! Our planet has way too much jaw-dropping natural beauty to not want to sustain for years to come. Simply recycling cans and bottles or just taking small steps to go green can go a looooong way.

7. Maintain your RV regularly.

Not only will regularly maintaining your RV keep your mobile home in pristine condition, but it should (hopefully) prevent any unexpected dilemmas while you’re on the road. And staying ahead of the game is always a plus.

8. Spend more time outdoors.

Our world is full of picture perfect landscapes, and taking the time to go see them all in person can definitely make for an incredible experience. What better way could you possibly spend your time while out camping or RVing?
