Local Car Club Member Raffles Off Teardrop Camper To Support Wounded Veterans

Gary Daniel of the car club, Illinois Valley Drifters, built a DIY teardrop camper. Now he’s giving it away.

He’s donating the trailer in support of the veteran’s group, Military Order of the Purple Heart.

Gary said of his camper,

I built it myself and I haven’t seen another one like it.

The small RV sleeps two people and comes with an expandable tent that rests on a platform off the rear kitchen.

Asked why he chose to support the veteran’s cause in this way he said,

You have to help people who were willing to risk their lives, their health and their minds so you and I can stand here and shoot the breeze.
