15 RV Shows You Won’t Want To Miss This Fall

Fall RV shows are coming up soon.  They’re fun to attend even if you’re not looking to buy a new rig.  You can get a sneak peek at the latest 2018 models and find end-of-the-year deals if you are considering upgrading your home on wheels.  Acres of RVs, trailers, fifth wheels and more are on display, as well as a variety of seminars and new camping products.

These are fifteen of the annual RV shows that are set over the next couple of months.  Check out if any of these events are close to your neck of the woods and be sure to add them to your calendar.

1. Portland Fall RV & Van Show

Date: September 14-17, 2017  (Thurs & Fri: 11am-8pm, Sat: 10am-8pm, Sun: 10am-6pm)

Location: Portland Expo Center, Oregon

Portland Fall RV & Van Show has been held every year since 1984.  RV enthusiasts love coming to this event to see new makes and models of all shapes and sizes.  You can walk around to see various Class A, B, and C motorhomes, as well as travel trailers, fifth wheels, tow vehicles, vans, and other camping accessories.

General admission is $10, but if you’re visiting with a friend you can get a discount with this coupon from their website.

2. Tacoma Fall RV Show

Date: October 5-8, 2017 (Thurs-Sat: 11am-8pm, Sun: 11am – 5pm)

Location: Tacoma Dome, Washington

South of Seattle, the Tacoma Fall RV Show is coming back for its 34th consecutive year.  Several local RV dealers set up inside the huge Tacoma Dome and showcase the latest models and products the industry has to offer.

There’s a little something for everyone here: long distance cruisers, fuel efficient vehicles, luxury motorhomes, and everything in-between.  They also have vendors with more information on resorts and destinations in the area.

3. California RV Show

Date: October 6-15, 2017 (10am-6pm daily)

Location: Los Angeles Fairplex, California

In one word, the California RV Show is massive.  Across the 1.3 million square feet of show space, you can check out over 1,400 types of RVs of all kinds, four food courts, as well as an exhibitor tent with campground info, tourism associations, RV products and more.

The show additionally features live music and free ferris wheel rides thanks to KOA.  The event celebrates its 65th anniversary this year and even offers the opportunity to meet and greet celebrities.  This year Mario Lopez will be appearing at the show on Saturday, October 14 at 11am.

4. The Great American RV Show

Date: September 28-30, 2017 (10am-6pm daily)

Location: Norris Penrose Event Center, Colorado Springs

This annual event will be showing off a variety of RVs, fifth wheels, and travel trailers in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs.  You can find special low prices on RVs from 2017 and get a sneak peek of the latest 2018 models.  Tickets are $5 per carload; for more information, visit GS Events here.

5. Georgia RV & Camper Show

Date: October 13-15, 2017 (beginning at 11am)

Location: Cobb Galleria Center, Atlanta, Georgia

RVs of all types will be on display at the Georgia RV and Camper Show.  You can trade or buy motorhomes, trailers and more at the show, find new camping gear, and learn more from their educational seminars.  Tickets are $8 (kids 15 and under are free) and they’re good for the entire weekend. 6. Detroit Fall Camper & RV Show

Date: October 4-8, 2017 (Weekdays 2-9pm, Sat: 11am-9pm, Sun: 11am-6pm)

Location: Suburban Collection Showplace, Novi, Michigan

The 28th annual Fall Detroit Camper & RV Show will have hundreds of RVs and trailers at Suburban Collection Showplace.  You can get a first-hand look inside the motorhomes, take notes and photos, and learn more from experts in the industry.

7. Springfield Fall RV Sale

Date: September 15-17, 2017 (Fri & Sat: 10am-6pm, Sun: 11am-4pm)

Location: Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, Springfield, Missouri

Southern Missouri’s biggest fall RV show will be held at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield.  The event runs for three days with the best local deals on fifth wheels, pop ups, and toy haulers. Learn more from RV Megashows here.

8. Raleigh Fall RV Show (and the Greensboro Fall RV Show)

Dates: August 25-27, October 20-22, 2017  

Location: August show held at North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raliegh; October show held at Greensboro Coliseum

North Carolina’s popular RV shows will be returning at the end of August and then again by late October.  The August event will be held at the huge venue of NC State Fairgrounds in Raliegh, with free parking and tons of space to roam and get a closer look inside all of the different RVs and trailers.  Admission is $10, kids 10 & under are free.

9. Fall RV Show & Bargain Expo

Dates: October 12-15, 2017 (Thurs-Sat: 10am-8pm, Sun: 10am-6pm)

Location: State Fair Park, Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City’s Fall RV Show offers four days of browsing and family fun entertainment.  In addition to the show dealers and vendors, the event includes a kids area (with a moon bounce and face painter), as well as a racecar simulator where you can get behind the wheel of an authentic racecar and see what it’s like to go 190 MPH.

Admission is $12 for adults, and free for first responders and kids 12 & under.  Other attendees can receive $2 off with this printable coupon from their website.

10. Salem Fall RV Show

Dates: October 12-15, 2017 (Thurs-Sat: 10am-7pm, Sun: 10am-5pm)

Location: Oregon State Fair & Expo Center

Salem, located about an hour south of Portland, hosts a huge RV show at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in mid-October.  The four day event takes up two large buildings with over 200,000 square feet of RVs on display.

They have a wide selection of vehicles to browse: from Class As (gas and diesel) to teardrop trailers and conversion vans.  Admission is $7 ($6.50 for seniors) and parking is free for visitors.  Get more details on their website.

11. America’s Largest RV Show

Dates: September 13-17,2017 (Wed-Sat: 9am-8pm, Sun: 9am-5pm)

Location: Giant Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania

Over 1,300 RVs will displayed at America’s Largest RV Show this year.  The five day event, held at Pennsylvania’s Giant Center, will also have a variety of the latest camping accessories.

12. Southwest RV Super Show

Dates: September 14-17, 2017 (Thurs and Sun: 10am-6pm, Fri-Sat: 10am-8pm)

Location: Dallas Market Hall, Texas

Not many places in North Texas offer this kind of variety when it comes to RVs, trailers, and fifth wheels.  The Southwest RV Supershow has everything from towable trailers to luxury state-of-the-art motorhomes with end-of-the-year closeout deals.  The event will also be offering seminars and educational sessions on various topics from experts in the RV industry.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for seniors/military/first responders, and free for kids 15 and under.  The event is cash only and offers free parking for guests.  Use this coupon from their website to save $2 off your admission.

13. Utah RV Super Show

Dates: September 14-17, 2017 (Thurs and Fri: 2pm-9pm, Sat: 10am-9pm, Sun: 10am-4pm)

Location: South Towne Expo Center, Sandy, Utah

Utah’s premiere fall RV show will be held at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy.  A wide selection of new and used RVs are showcased at this four-day event: from campers and fifth wheels to Class A, B, and C motorhomes.

Adult admission is $8, kids 12 and under are free.  If you bring up to four cans of donatable food you can receive $1 off the admission price per can.  Alternatively, you can save money with this discount coupon from their website.

14. Vermont Fall RV Show

Dates: September 9-10, 2017 (Sat: 9am-7pm, Sun: 9am-6pm)

Location: Champlain Valley Expo Essex Junction, Vermont

The two-day Vermont State Fall RV Show will be coming back for its 15th year.  Over 50,000 square feet of RVs will be on display from six different dealers.  You can walk around to see motorhomes of all types, travel trailers, fifth wheels, park models, and pre-owned RVs.

15. Austin RV Super Sale

Dates: September 29-October 1st, 2017 (Fri: noon-7pm, Sat: 10am-7pm, Sun: 10am-5pm)

Location: The Dell Diamond, Round Rock, Texas

Unlike others on this list, Austin RV Expo offers free parking and free admission.  Hundreds of RVs will be on display at Dell Diamond in Central Texas, and when you get hungry from all the browsing, Mighty Fine will be serving burgers, fries, and shakes.  For more information, check out their website.
