Do It Yourself RV is a proud affiliate of Living Vehicle
Most RVs have the same plain manufactured look with very little elbow room or storage space. So when we came across the new Living Vehicle travel trailers, we were beyond impressed by all of the high-end features that make them feel like a real sticks-and-bricks house.
The towable LV trailers are about 31 feet long and have a spacious floor plan with a full kitchen, lounge, Master Suite, and a spa-style bathroom. They’re designed to go off-the-grid and they can keep you comfortable throughout all four seasons.
The lounge has a U-shaped dining area with seating for about six people. The dinette can be converted into a bed and a Euro-Loft bed can lower down from the ceiling as an extra sleeping space.
Unlike traditional RVs, the LV sports a large 8-foot glass sliding door with two exterior deck options. It also has several oversized windows and skylights to make the space feel more open and give the interior bright natural lighting.
The lounge has a 32″ LED HDTV and speakers are installed in every room. The LV also comes equipped with a high-end A/V controller, a WiFi antenna, and a backup camera.
The LV’s full kitchen comes furnished with a three-burner stove, microwave, oven, and a dishwasher. It is also uniquely designed with a modular island countertop and a skylight window.
The kitchen incorporates tons of storage room for cookware and food. This includes lots of deep drawer storage, overhead cabinets, and a full-height pantry.
The bathroom is one of our favorite highlights in the LV’s design. It features a glass vessel sink and a large vanity with a couple of shelves for storage. There is also a medicine cabinet above the full-height, foot flush toilet.
Showering in the LV is nothing short of pure luxury. The spa-style shower is designed with floor-to-ceiling teak slats and a teak deck mat. It has a large glass door as well as a skylight overhead. You’ll also appreciate the wide rain showerhead and the heated towel warmer.
The Master Suite can be used as a private bedroom or as a home office. It can come with either a fixed queen memory foam mattress or a folding sofa sleeper. The room also includes a washer and dryer and a full-height closet with LED lighting, shelves, and drawers.
A huge, 48″ by 30″ skylight above the bed lets you fall asleep stargazing every night. The bed can also lift up to reveal hidden storage space underneath.
The trailer is able to camp off-the-grid for long periods of time thanks to its solar power setup and oversized water and propane tanks. The LV comes with 600 watts of rooftop solar panels in addition to a 400aH all-lithium battery bank and a 2800W inverter that powers most 110V appliances.
The LV is constructed with sustainable materials, namely 100% high-grade aluminum. The exterior has a natural mill finish while the interior walls and cabinets have a stylish powder coat finish.
They’re relatively lightweight—with a dry weight between 8-9K lbs—and they can be towed by any 3/4 ton truck. The LV Live Series is currently priced at $149,995 and available for delivery as of Fall 2018.
