Traveling Nurse Buys 13 Foot Scamp Trailer For Winter Camping

Deciding to live full-time in a small RV isn’t for everyone, but Catherine wouldn’t want it any other way. Growing up, she loved spending summers at children’s camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.

After she and her husband married in the 1960s, the couple took a camping trip for their honeymoon. Soon after, they moved to a small town and raised a family. While the family didn’t do much overnight camping, they spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying Nature.

Decades later, and after a divorce from her husband of 30 years, Catherine wanted to try something different.

So she bought a new 13 foot Scamp trailer, one of the few brands of fiberglass trailers on the market. Scamp trailers have lots of insulation, and work well for all-weather camping.

Ever the adventurer, Catherine will turn 75 this year, and she doesn’t plan to slow down anytime soon!

Catherine said,

I can either do these scary things or live a joyless life. Those are my only two choices.
