Volkswagen Releases New California Camper Van – But You Can’t Buy It In The U.S.

Volkswagen has released a new version of their California camper van (the fourth of its kind since 1988) based on the Transporter T6 – and surprisingly it’s not available in the United States!

The newly redesigned interior features a sizable kitchenette and room to sleep four adults. And unlike a lot of Volkswagen camper conversions, the California is the only factory-built model.

Buyers will have the choice of three finishes: Beach, Coast, and Ocean, as well as the new Volkswagen TDI low-emissions engine.
