Mobile RV Cup Holder and Trash Bag: Scrap-Ma-Bob

Mobile RV Cup Holder and Trash Bag Scrap-Ma-Bob 2

A silly name name and niche application has never been enough to scare me away from a good idea. This RV cup holder / trash bag concept (as I will call it going forward) from TheOriginalScrapBox.com is originally marketed toward scrap booking enthusiasts. After seeing it for the first time I had no idea it was for arts and crafts; I saw it as a fantastic RV cup holder and RV trash bag that could be used in a variety of places like the indoor tables, outdoor temporary tables, bedroom tables, etc. Note that the maximum table width this model can support is 3.25″.  We were also able to connect it to the side of collapsible outdoor chair providing an additional drink holder and a garbage bag (wont work on all chairs).

This re-purposed Mobile RV Cup Holder and Trash Bag is made of fairly rigid steel and can hold up to 32 ounces says the manufacturer, though I was able to load more than that onto it without a worry. This thing will control spills and offer a convenient place to store trash in your RV or  while sitting outside. The Scrap-Ma-Bob easily hooks to the side of a grill or table outside for a place to store your red solo cup and to dispose of your tin foil as well. I can see it also as a handy tool around a card table.

The included fabric trash bag is removable so its very easy to empty and can really be used for holding anything. The bag could be used for snacks, game pieces, remote controls, holding keys during an “adult party”, and seemingly an unlimited amount of uses. Not to mention the extra space this can provide given the limited amount of table space for drinks in most RV’s. Its a great addition for many RV’ers and it gets double duty if you happen to RV with a scrapbooker.

Sometimes you find great ideas in the scrap booking isle, remember that!
