We have made posts about RV living room office remodels before, but perhaps none that have resulted in multiple work stations with a separate dining table design as this renovation from Terri and Doyle Johnson showcases. Terri and Doyle live full time in their RV traveling the country making jewelry, running Traveling Kitchen Under Canvas, updating their blog, and participating in historic events.
As you can imagine this involves large requirement for workspace. They both have computers and hobbies that require more space than the average RV can provide. So after purchasing their brand new Heartland RV RoadWarrior 361 they went to work customizing the RV living room into a RV living office.
Before the RV living room office renovation, there was no real workspace to speak of. The table was shared by them for dinner, working, and any other project that came up. Which meant a lot of setting up and take down daily.

So they decided to remove the RV sofa and install 2 corner desks on either side of the slide-out. The chairs were replaced with much more comfortable and mobile versions. They ended up keeping the RV dining table that came with the RV and as you can see from the photos its works perfectly for the setup. The result was a perfect match of form and function. They could now have their own independent work areas with the ability to flip their respective chairs around in order to use the dining table for projects or just to simply enjoy a meal.
With just the two of them in the RV the sofa was not nearly as important as have a hybrid RV living room office that they could be productive in.
