Although most of our campers are sitting dormant somewhere, just waiting to be hauled out to the great wide yonder, there are some questions that a camping enthusiast might be asking themselves right about now. One of those questions may be, “Is this a good time to buy my first camper?” Another great question might be, “Is now a good time to upgrade to a brand-new camper? Are there any camper deals out there?” And the answer to that question is a resounding yes, there are.
The deals are out there, and they definitely won’t be there for too long. As brand-new travel trailers are sitting at camper dealerships collecting dust, now is the time to get the camper of your dreams at a significant discount.
2020 Keystone Premier 34BI
One of the first campers that I looked at was a travel trailer, the 2020 Keystone Premier 34BI. According to Keystone RV, the Keystone Premier has an MSRP of around $43,556, not including dealer fees, taxes, title, or options. This was for the basic model. However, the “basic” model of this travel trailer had three slide-outs and a queen sleeper. The Premier also has two bunks in the back and at least one pull-out sleeper sofa.
This rig can comfortably sleep six people. At Gander RV & Outdoors, located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, this camper is on sale right now for $32,995. That’s a savings of $11,561 or over 25% off.
2020 Dutchmen Atlas 3172RLKB
The 2020 Dutchmen Atlas 3172RLKB is a fifth-wheel trailer that comfortably sleeps four people. With an open layout, this camper has plenty of breathing room for a family on the road. This fifth wheel is equipped with a queen sleeper, a fold-out sofa, and ample seating.
With all stainless appliances and a lovely island sink, the Atlas fifth wheel has a lot to offer in the way of functionality and style. The MSRP on this rig comes in at around $61,802. It’s also on sale right now at Gander RV for $41,995. That’s nearly $20,000 off, a whopping 30% discount.
2020 Keystone Impact 367 Toy Hauler
As many camping enthusiasts love the outdoors, they also love bringing their toys with them out on the road. If you fall into this category, the deals on toy haulers right now are hard to beat.
Generally speaking, toy haulers are always a bit on the pricey side because they are so much bigger than your average travel trailer. Right now, though, there are exceptional savings to be had on all makes and models of RVs. If you are in a position to buy a new rig and are considering buying a toy hauler, the time has never been better to take the leap.
The 2020 Keystone Impact 367 is a 39-foot toy hauler that has a full bath, queen sleeper, and three slide-outs to give you plenty of elbow room. It also boasts a 13-foot garage space to carry all of your fun toys with you.
The MSRP on a trailer like this is around $94,250. This rig is on clearance right now at Gander RV & Outdoors for $52,995. That’s over $40,000 in savings or a discount of over 40% off.
2020 Keystone Bullet 291RLS
Next up, we have another travel trailer, the Keystone Bullet 291 RLS. The Keystone Bullet is quite a bit smaller than the Keystone Premier. You can technically sleep six, but this camper would be better suited to a family of four or less.
That said, the Keystone Bullet has a lovely color pallet and the trailer has a very modern look. With a gray tile backsplash, weathered gray flooring, and white cabinetry, with stainless steel appliances, this travel trailer is sleek and contemporary.
The MSRP on the Bullet is $35,287, of course not including the hidden fees of tags, taxes, etc. At some of the local dealerships that I found, the 2020 Keystone Bullet 291RLS was as low as $28,995. That comes to a discount of over $6,000, giving you a savings of 17%.
2020 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 308RL
Now, we come to the final camper on our list, the 2020 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 308RL. This camper is an absolutely gorgeous travel trailer, hands down. It has chevron-patterned floors and a rustic color scheme, giving a warm feel to this home on wheels.
Weathered gray cabinets line the kitchen area, with glass cut-out doors. Every inch of this trailer is simply luxurious. Theater seats face a big screen TV that sits on top of an electric fireplace. It sleeps four comfortably, with a queen sleeper and a pull-out couch.
The MSRP on the 2020 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 308RL is about $51,900. It’s on clearance right now at Gander RV in Lowell, Arkansas for $36,995. That’s just under $15,000 off, or a 29% discount.
This list just begins to scratch the surface on the deals that are out there right now on brand-new RVs. And you can get even better deals and lower prices if you buy a camper that’s lightly used or one of the 2019 models.
Looking at other dealerships around the Nashville area, this trend is the same. RVs are going for significantly less than usual. Brand-new campers that have never been off the lot are selling for considerably discounted prices. The consumer will pay well under market value for a gorgeous RV that has never been used. It’s a buyer’s market for sure in the realm of RVs and campers. If you are financially sound and in a place to buy, now is the time.
Please note the prices listed in this article are what they were advertised at the time of writing this, however, they are subject to change.
