I’m not sure there’s a category for World’s Smallest RV in the Guinness World Records yet.
While we know what the World’s Fastest Motorhome looks like, could this be the World’s tiniest?
Australian James Lawler works as a landscaper and wanted a stylish and utilitarian (is that possible?) way to camp. So he added what amounts to a hut on the back of his Toyota Prius car.

The total cost set James back just $150, and he’s already used it (successfully) at a local music festival. Other concertgoers were stuck in tents.
He said, “There’s a lot of boring camper vans out there. I thought this would be a little bit more quaint and Australiana with a rusted tin roof.”

And yes, he’s gotten fined by the police, which is totally OK with him. 🙂 Still, he maintains that his mini RV is safe to use and roadworthy.
