5 Waterfront Campgrounds In The Western U.S.

This post was updated on April 23rd, 2024

Temperatures are heating up, and what better way to cool off than by heading to some RV campgrounds right on the water?

Although some campgrounds across the U.S. are still not open or have certain restrictions, RVers can still find many great resorts and RV parks open for business. Luckily, CampgroundReviews.com has listed the current status of more than 12,000 campgrounds nationwide and they’re continuing to update information as it is available. They have also implemented this data in RV LIFE Trip Wizard as well as the RV LIFE App, making it easier than ever to find out who’s open and who’s not.

We compiled some amazing waterfront campgrounds in the Western US that are currently open and taking reservations.
