The XV1 Camper Van From Xan’s Vans

Portland-based Xan’s Vans specializes in building out Ram ProMaster vans as unique campers. One of his custom camper van conversions, the XV1, is currently up for sale, and it offers both comfort and convenience on the road.

The custom camper is built on a Ram ProMaster with a 159″ wheelbase. It comes with an extensive solar power system to take you off-grid for at least a week. In fact, the van was even taken on a one-week expedition to break in the systems and ensure that all the systems are fully functioning.

The interior

The interior was upgraded with luxurious vinyl plank flooring and a beautiful cedar tongue and groove ceiling. Other new features include custom blackout window covers and flip-up shoe storage space.

The kitchen

The kitchen was built out with solid acacia countertops, a Dometic 3-burner propane stove/oven, and a stainless steel undermount sink. Both the sink and the cooktop have a butcher block cover to provide extra counter space as needed. The sink also comes with a hot and cold sprayer faucet and a soap dispenser to make dishwashing a breeze.

The well-appointed kitchen has more than enough storage space. It includes frameless custom cabinetry, a fridge drawer, a drawer for bowls and plates, a drawer for utensils and cutlery, and a pull-out pantry drawer. There is additionally drawer space under the oven for pots and pans, as well as a toe-kick drawer for baking sheets and cutting boards.

Under the sink is a trash can, a SHURflo water pump, a Bosch mini-tank water heater, and a sealed and vented propane locker. There is also a pull-out drawer under the bench seating that houses a Camco cassette-style toilet.
