A few years ago, Youtube user Foster Wayne shared this video about his restoration of a 1947 Aero Flite Falcon Camper. He’s back at it again, but this time with a sweet aluminum teardrop known as a 1947 Kampmaster.
The trailer wasn’t looking so pretty when it showed up at his place.
He completely restored the teardrop by taking it apart, sanding the frame, giving it a new paint job, a new aluminum skin, and a solid new axle.
The original interior cabinets were polished, the ice box was sanded and nicely repainted. He fixed up the stove, installed a new floor and walls.
A comfy bed/seat was also installed, and the mechanisms were all rebuilt. And perhaps our very favorite part: he added in this gorgeous new frame for the back door.
