It must be time for an RV mod on your tank. I am only kidding but when I saw this idea I knew it was one that was simple and the outcome could be a conversation piece for years to come. Taking your RV propane tank and modifying it into an artistic expression of your personality is surprisingly easy.
All this RV Mod Propane Project Requires is:
- Propane Tank
- Turpentine
- Metal Spray Paint
- Hobby Paints for any custom paint brush work
Choose your main spray paint base color
Choose your enamel paint set with brushes for design
Blink your eyes, a lot of spray paint and enamel hobby paint gets applied. Then congratulations, you just made the best conversation starter at a BBQ ever.
I have a close friend that tried this out today and estimates that this total project took about 1 hour to complete when not including drying time. If your like me that time table falls squarely within my limits for an RV mod because I tend to lose interest quickly after starting most of them! I think this goes without saying but please disconnect your tank before taking on this RV mod. Lets just say someone I know didn’t..
