It’s totally understandable if you don’t look forward to taking a shower in a campground bathroom. Luckily, there are a few clever ways to make the process bearable.

1. Collapsible shower tote

Who doesn’t love a collapsible anything? Made from quick dry mesh, this collapsible shower tote won’t drip water on your legs as you walk back to the camper. And when you’re done, simply push it flat for storage.

2. Shower caddy with clip-on hooks

Avoid having to pick up dropped items from that yucky floor in the shower stall. This simple shower caddy ($12) holds essential shower items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) in convenient bottles. Just drape the lanyard over the control knob or shower head for secure storage while you wash. You could even clip your ID to the lanyard with this credit card-sized badge holder.

3. Shower squid

While the Shower Squid ($33) looks a little different than the shower caddy with hooks, it works in much the same way. Instead of clips, the Shower Squid uses elastic bands to keep toiletries tightly bound. Nine adjustable tentacles made of natural latex can hold bottles upside down or right side up. Your choice!

4. Portable shower station

Now you don’t have to pick and choose what to bring to the shower with you—just bring everything in the bathroom! This Vessel portable shower station ($20) has plenty of room for your toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and everything else.

Use either the sewn-on suction cups or the clip-together handle to take this shower station anywhere. Works great on tiled showers or hung on the shower head or control knob. Watch a fun video of the Vessel portable shower station in action on YouTube.

5. 8-pocket shower caddy

This extra-large shower caddy ($8) comes complete with 8 side pockets for those of us who need to bring more than a few items along for shower time. Unlike other shower caddies, with this one you won’t have to sort through a jumble of bottles and containers in one big bag. The pockets keep things nice and organized. You can still cram a towel or loofah in the generously-sized main pocket though.
