From the makers of the Luna teardrop trailer, inTech RV recently debuted their new Sol model at some of the winter RV shows this season. Longer, taller and wider than the Luna model, the new Sol has more space with the same futuristic style.
The new Sol weighs around 3050-3200 lbs and can be towed by any truck or SUV. It sleeps 2-4 adults comfortably whereas the lightweight Luna is best suited for couples or solo RVers. The latest trailer from inTech RV comes with more elbow room and the addition of a bathroom with a shower.
Like the Luna model, the new Sol has a wide tempered glass windshield that wraps around the front end. The large window not only provides natural lighting but also panoramic views from the comfort of your dinette.
You can opt to include a 10″ awning and/or an outdoor kitchen with a fridge. The exterior front stripe is available in a few colors including Silver Mine, Electric Blue, and Gold Dust.

The new Sol
The Sol has a very modern interior with LED dome lighting and grey vinyl walls. It incorporates lots of cabinets, drawers, and overhead compartments for more than enough storage space.

The convertible dinette
In addition to the bathroom, the open floor plan includes a kitchen, queen bed, and a dinette that converts into an extra sleeping space. The dinette is within easy reach of the fridge and microwave and has a removable table that can be set up or taken down in minutes.

The windows (including the dinette window) have roll-down shades
The kitchen is complete with a two-burner gourmet LP cooktop alongside a farmhouse-style sink. There is additionally a countertop extension that goes over the bed if you need more room. The upper and lower cabinets will hold all of your pantry items and kitchenware.

The kitchen area
The bathroom is designed as a wet bath with a Porcelain toilet and handheld showerhead. It also comes furnished with a storage net for accessories and a mirror on the inside of the door.

Bathroom space to hang robes, toiletries, etc
The Sol comes with a 28-gallon fresh water holding tank (compared to the Luna’s mere 8-gallon tank), a 30-gallon black holding tank, and a 6-gallon gas or electric water tank heater. There is also an exterior shower hookup if you want to rinse off outside.

Shower & toilet
In the back, the queen bed faces a large 32″ LED television. The TV comes installed on a locking swivel mount and connected to a CD/DVD stereo system.

The queen-size bed
The 19-foot-long trailer can be taken off-grid (solar panels not included) or it can be hooked up via 30-amp shore power. There are 12V and 120V outlets throughout to charge all of your devices. The Sol also comes standard with a 16,000 BTU furnace and a 13,500 BTU air conditioning unit.

Well, there doesn’t appear to be much storage. The closet over the bed is awful. The dining area looks like a nice size but the table doesn’t extend all the way. Even as a bed it doesn’t extend all the way to the edge. It doesn’t under the bed or the dinette storage so I would have to assume that is where the tanks are. I guess it would be ok for a couple or single person to use on weekends. I really don’t see it fitting 4 people unless they are nudists. LOL
