Field & Stream made travel trailers between the late 1950s and 1970s, but they are not as widely known as other campers from their time like Airstream and Shasta. It’s not very common to see these vintage trailers still around, let alone up for sale in good condition.
So, you can only imagine our excitement when we came across this fully renovated 1963 “Dream Catcher” trailer on Craigslist.

The owner transformed this old vintage camper into a modern tiny home-on-wheels. The rare 15-foot trailer has a wide front window for natural lighting along with new custom-sewn window shades.

The modern, cozy interior
The interior was redone with all-new Eucalyptus hardwood floors. It was furnished with an Amazon Alexa and a warm LED fireplace heater that is day and night temperature controlled.

The kitchen was made simple with a sink, mini-fridge, and a microwave. Steps away, the bathroom has a new automatic toilet and a stand-up shower.

There’s plenty of storage space under the bed
The new waterfall shower rains down from the ceiling overhead. It has a wooden slat floor and connects to the 10-gallon hot water tank.

The interior is designed around the cozy queen bed, which sits opposite from the new Roku-enabled television. It’s strategically angled for laying in bed and watching your favorite shows or movies.

The vintage trailer also got new whitewall tires, exterior paint, and an electric door lock. It was sold in early 2019 for $22,000 in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.

Beautiful!
What’s an automatic toilet?
We used to own this little gem. We sold it to a young lady in the Seattle area about 4 years ago. We have many pictures of this trailer if you would like them. You did an excellent job on it.
